Thank you for subscribing to my newsletter. Please share it with any of your friends who might be interested in the county and what we can do to be helpful. We’re in April, and spring is in full bloom. My office and I have been busy, participating in community forums and providing updates on county projects and activities.
Over the past few weeks, among other things, I had the pleasure of participating in the groundbreaking for the Altrudy II Senior Complex in Yorba Linda, speaking to the California Association of Public Cemeteries at its 68th annual conference, as well as joining the Santiago Retreat Center for Good Friday celebrations. It has been a productive spring so far, and I look forward to what lies ahead! |

ALTRUDY II SENIOR COMPLEX IN YORBA LINDA |
It was my honor to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for C&C Development’s new project in Yorba Linda, the Altrudy II Senior Apartment complex. This facility will have 64 units of one and two bedrooms, a community room, dog park, BBQ pavilion, exercise facility, and elevator service. The design on both this and the Altrudy I project have been welcomed by the neighborhood. Congratulations on this groundbreaking. We wish C&C Development success in the construction of this new complex for our senior citizens. |

ORANGE LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL GALA |
I attended the Orange Lutheran High School Gala held at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda. The Gala featured a large silent auction, a wonderful student musical performance, a dinner, live auction, and festivities afterwards. As always, Orange Lutheran held a wonderful Gala, and I look forward to next year's! |

CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF PUBLIC CEMETERIES' 68TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE |
I recently made welcoming remarks during the California Association of Public Cemeteries’ 68th Annual Conference, an event that was well-attended by public officials that are serving on various cemetery district boards throughout the state. It was an honor to welcome these officials to Orange County, and to share our progress on Orange County’s newest public cemetery and very first veteran’s cemetery. Thank you to all those who attended, and to the Orange County Cemetery District for all the work it does to serve our county. |

ANNUAL CRIME VICTIMS' RIGHTS CEREMONY |
ANNUAL CRIME VICTIMS' RIGHTS CEREMONY |
My office attended the Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer Office Crime Victims’ Rights Ceremony. This year’s theme, Driven to Despair: The Deadly Devastation of Driving Under the Influence, served as a powerful reminder of the lives forever changed by impaired driving and the urgent need for continued awareness and prevention. Hearing directly from victims and their families was both heartbreaking and deeply impactful. Their courage in sharing their stories underscores why we must remain committed to protecting our communities and holding offenders accountable. We stand with victims, honor their stories, and reaffirm our collective efforts to save lives. |
